Welcome to the 2016 Whitby Rugby club bonfire night celebration in association with this years main sponsors for the event, the CO-OP.

The club is very proud to be hosting Whitby's main bonfire event, following on from last years success, we hope to make this years even more special. The wrist band sponsors for the night is Astins and Whitby holiday cottages. The park and ride sponsors for the night are Sainsbury's and Arriva.

Do's on the night

Enjoy yourself! There is no parking in or around the clubhouse including Whiteleys Road, Love Lane and Stakesby Road (from Lidl to the traffic lights near West Lodge/Station Avenue). All parking is advised to use the free car park at West Cliff leisure centre. People on the East side of town please use the free Park and Ride service at Sainsburys from 6pm-9.30pm.

Dont's on the night

No Sparklers, no Pets, no bringing your own alcohol and no bringing your own fireworks. You and your guests will not be allowed entry if you have any of the 4 items above.

Other info

Entry points are from the gates at Northway and the Rugby Club car park only. All other points will be attended by Stewards. Please show your wristbands to stewards on entry, we will be checking throughout the night. All children must be supervised at all times.If there are extreme weather conditions it will be postponed until Thursday 10th November.

Wrist band price Price

£5 per adult, children under 18 go for free, with a paying adult.

Opening Time

The event starts on November 3rd at 6pm site must be cleared by 10pm

Ticket Info

Tickets can be bought at the Rugby club, the main Co-op in town and Agars of Flowergate. All bands must be worn on the night.

Bar

Challenge 21 will be in force. You must show your wristband to be served. There are 3 bars so you can use both rear entrances of the club. Everything will be served in plastic glasses or cans.

Food

On the field there will be Hotdogs, burgers, tea/coffee and soft drinks plus Ben Laws Hog Roast. Plus Fuscos Fish N Chip Van will near the car park.
